Friends...

Maddy and Lauren (and Andrea, Chris, Deana and Steve) all came to celebrate a belated Christmas. Lauren got a chance to show off her crawling and cruising skills and we all enjoyed Madison's Happy Hannukah wishes!

Wow how big they both are! It is amazing that right around this time last year Maddy was just walking now she is reminding her friend Lauren that she is not allowed to play with the glitter balls!

Lauren gets a "B" for Christmas

Lauren's first Christmas Day was really fun. We opened presents with mommy and daddy in the morning when we woke up. She had fun sitting in the box and playing with the ribbons. She even enjoyed the drum she got. Lauren really loved Aunt Jenny's gift after we put it all together!Later, Grandma and Grandpa Krupski came with Uncle Jeff and Uncle Kevin to open more presents. Then we all got ready and went to Aunt Marie's house for dinner and more fun! Lauren wore her Christmas dress that Grandma made for her, she even made the hat!Believe it or not, Santa Claus came and brought even more presents!!The kids were so excited. The best gift that Santa brought Lauren this year though is her "B". She finally started saying a consonent sound and now crawls around saying "ba ba ba ba." So Santa didn't come through with some teeth but we'll take the "B, " Thanks Santa!!Lauren still enjoys the gift tags and bows more than what is in the package.

Christmas Eve

We went to Aunt Ria's for Chrismas Eve this year. Before we left Lauren made sure to leave Santa some cookies......and put in one last request for teeth this Christmas. She loves to go and look at this angel ornament at the bottom of the tree. Lauren and all the Chrismas animals at Aunt Ria's.
Yeah, she blends!
Crawling after the reindeer, it is so hard to get around in the dress!
William got Elmo Live for Christmas and Lauren couldn't take her eyes off of it. She even tried to grab his hand to eat him!
Trying to open presents. She is still more interested in the paper than what is inside the paper.

Decorating the Christmas Tree

Lauren enjoyed decorating her first Christmas tree, or at least everyone else did. She hardly noticed the giant lit up tree in her living room. She is way more interested in tissue paper and trying to eat the remote control!

Clapping Hands and Crawling

Lauren has started clapping hands and crawling!! We are so excited and I know we are in big trouble! She is already so curious about everything, now that she can get to what she wants nothing is safe!!

She loves riding Maddy's lion. We ride her around the hose and she honks his nose! She tries to push it herself but it is a lot more work that way!

Crawling is not enough for Lauren. She likes to get up on her hands and feet and try and move. Maybe she's just getting in shape with some baby yoga...downward facing baby!!
Hanging out on the couch! She likes to play with the clothes on laundry day almost as much as she likes riding in the basket!
Crawling after those duckies!!
"Come back here...you can't get away from me!"

Catching up...

Wow how fast a month goes! We have been running constantly, between school and the regular routine and trying to get Christmas shopping done we are never around to sit at the computer.

Lauren is getting ready to crawl any minute. She is getting around and scooting herself all over the place. Nothing is too far away for her anymore. She can sit up by herself now, so we had to lower her crib last night (what a production!). We woke up to find that Lauren had rolled herself over in the crib, sat up and was trying to pull herself up on the bars. It was time to lower it before she figures out how to climb out.
Lauren is eating so many new foods and doesn't really dislike anything. She is trying to eat her puffs, and has tried little bits of waffle and oatmeal. The faces she makes when the new texture hits her mouth is priceless!
Mommy and Daddy make me wear this big pink bear suit! I love it when it's laundry day!!

Thanksgiving, thinking about what to play with next.

Loving bubble wrap...we didn't let her put it over her face!!! I took it away as soon as I snapped the picture!

Trick or Treat!

Lauren had a great time on her first Halloween. She was the cutest bunny I have ever seen. Thanks to Grandma who made the whole thing! We went trick or treating at Grandma Krupski's and then came home to greet the kids in our neighborhood. She even carried her own candy bucket.

Getting ready to trick or treat, she has her candy bucket!Waiting for the kids to come trick or treating at our house.
Visiting Grandma.
Mommy was a Care Bear.
Hands down, the best shot of the day! Just look at those blue eyes!
