Mommy and Me

Lauren and Mommy spent the weekend together while Daddy was away! We visited with Aunt Wendy on Friday afternoon. She is due any minute now! Lauren can't wait to meet her new friend.

On Saturday, we saw Aunt Farrah, Uncle Ben and Makayla. We went shopping and went for a walk.

Today we went to Cousin Pam and Howie's for a BBQ. She met all of her cousins! I had to warn her about Howie and Richie, but she was happy to meet them. Cousin Howie tried to convince Lauren not to be a Met fan...I don't think she has a choice!

2 Months Old!!

Time to vote! You should know what a trooper Lauren is... these were taken just a couple of hours after our trip to the doctor for her first round of shots! She is now 12lbs and 24 inches long (this is the 95th percentile for length!)

Lauren also met Christian for the first time today! They looked a little unsure of each other at first, but I'm sure they will be a match made in P.S. 129 before you know it!

Lauren enjoyed her visit with Uncle Kevin over the past two weeks! She was sad to see him go back to Hawaii.

Today, Lauren was invited to her first party. We went to Skylar's 2nd birthday. She met Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Belle. We had a great time with the other kids.

We watched Maddy, Skylar, and Dimitry do the Hokey Pokey!

On Thursday, Cousins Chris and Jackson came to meet Lauren! Jackson, Craig and Chris played a little soccer in the backyard.

Watch out for the WILDMAN!

Craig's first Father's Day

Craig spent his first Father's Day at home. We had chocolate chip banana pancakes and played with Lauren. Later Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Jeff and Uncle Kevin came over to BBQ.

On Saturday We BBQ'd at Chris and Andrea's. Lauren and Maddy got together for the first time! Maddy was too adorable, she wanted to hug and kiss Lauren the whole time. I think Madison will be a great friend and an awesome big sister!

Today Lauren went to meet Craig's class. They had a fourth grade picnic and Lauren got to see all of Craig's students and many of my old students!

Is she ready for Kindergarten?

Lauren may be ready for Kindergarten already! She's reading words, just look at the concentration!

First the word catches her eye... then she is focusing her attention on each sound. She's not talking yet, but we just know by the look on her face that she will be ready when the time comes... after all both of her parents are teachers!

Mrs. Verity is telling her all the rules in her Kindergaten class for next year!

Sam and Andrew made stop at our house last night:

Sam was the only qualified person we could find to feed Lauren! Dad forgot to take out the stopper in her bottle and Sam was "fake" feeding her for almost 10 minutes!
Lauren didn't think Andrew was qualified either, she gave him the finger. I guess we'll have to work on her manners.

Uncle Kevin gets some Baby Training

Uncle Kevin travelled all the way from Hawaii to come and meet Lauren. He was taken by her immediately!! He wasted no time and jumped right in helping to take care of her. He played games with her, learned how to change her diaper, helped give her a bath, and fed her a few times!
