Pine Lake Manor

We took our first vacation with Lauren to Pine Lake Manor in the Catskills. We had a great time and Lauren was so well behaved. She handled the 3 hour car ride wonderfully. Aunt Andrea made Lauren and Maddy custom Pine Lake T-shirts.

We arrived just in time for dinner. Craig decided to demonstrate some of his hidden talents...and Maddy tried too!Lauren couldn't handle balancing the spoon on her nose, but she did get to try out a high chair for the first time.We all played 10 cent bingo the first night. Lauren may have been a lucky charm for the table.
The next day we had a shuffleboard tournament. Craig and I finished with a 2 and 2 record.Later Lauren went for her first swim!! She put on her teeny tiny bathing suit and sun hat, lathered up with sun screen and dived right in!! Well, daddy placed her in slowly. She was a little unsure of it at first. Her bath water is a lot warmer and full of bubbles. This was quite cool. She didn't mind the water on her legs but when it got to her belly she got a little upset.
We tried the kiddie pool first, then daddy took her for a dip in the big pool.Drying off on her Cookie Monster towel.After swimming we went back to the room to clean up and relax before supper. We discovered Lauren's love for BOUNCING!!

By the second night Lauren was too tired to keep up with the crowd!Maddy wasn't though, she was ready to pull an all-nighter in her comfy stroller and video of the Upside Down Show.

Olivia is 1!!!

Olivia celebrated turning one a few days after her birthday, but she did it with a splash!! Her pool party and BBQ was a lot of fun for everyone.

Jackson was into being dressed for the occasion. We loved the goggles/hat/trunks/swim shoes combo!

He did make sure to stop for a snack.

While everyone else was getting ready to sing happy birthday, Lauren had other plans. She rolled over from her back to her belly for the first time on her own! She has been so close for a couple of weeks now, but has had trouble getting her arm out of the way. This time mommy and daddy were not ready and did not get it on video. We will try and get a video of it soon though! These are a couple of pictures of her after the big accomplishment. She does look proud of herself!



Saturday we went to Diane and Roger's 40th Birthday Bash. They had a cut out bikini lady so daddy and Lauren thought they would try it out.

We took Lauren to her first Mets game today!! They played the Padres and won with David Wright hitting a game-winning home run. It couldn't have been any better. We had great weather and Maddy and Lauren were on their best behavior. Uncle Steve and Auntie Sam came along to the game. The whole crew sat in box seats in the upper deck so we had plenty of space to ourselves.

Getting excited to go to the game. We tried to teach her to cheer "Let's Go Mets"...maybe next year. She loved her outfit that Aunt Andrea and Uncle Chris picked out for her.
Lauren and Maddy tried to hail the cottoncandy vendor. They were happy to have thier own seats.

Lauren took a rest in the stroller she borrowed from Madison. Some shade, a binky, and a new Mets lovey from Sam...what could be better?
