Green Beans and a Day at the Farm

Lauren started eating veggies today!! We tried green beans first, probably not as tasty as sweet potatoes are going to be! She opened up for the spoon so nicely and then...spit it all back out! So far Lauren is not a fan of green beans but she didn't really like cereal when we started either.

She sits up like a big girl in her high chair and opens up like we've practiced for weeks with cereal.Then Daddy gives her GREEN BEANS! This is NOT the cereal that I like so much!
Please don't make me eat anymore of this!



Lauren and Mommy spent the day at White Post Farm with lots of friends. We hung out with Christain, Nicole, Michelle, Toni and Alyssa. We saw lots of animals, went on the slide, took a hayride (minus the hay), and checked out the pumpkin patch.

5 Months!!

Wow, we can't beleive it's been 5 months already! Lauren surprises us everyday. She loves to eat her cereal now, sitting up on her own is going to happen any minute, and we don't want to think about how soon she'll figure out how to crawl. She sleeps great and gets so happy when we put her in her crib for bed! We are totally spoiled!!

Lauren's Christening

We celebrated Lauren's Christening on Sunday. She was amazing through the entire ceremony, she hung on Monsignor's every word. She loved her dress that Grandma made and sent all the way from Indiana! Later we partied with everyone at Grandma and Grandpa Krupski's. Even though it was HOT and HUMID we enjoyed the family and friends that came.Lauren was happy and ready to pose for all the pictures after the ceremony.Maddy congratulating Warren on her Baptism. Swaddle Free At Last!

Lauren slept through the night without her swaddle for the first time last night! She probably could have done it before but we wanted to make sure WE were going to get a good nights sleep.

She is growing and changing so fast now. It takes her about 3 seconds to roll over, and now she is trying to figure out how to move! When she gets to her belly, she tries to pull her knees under herself and push out with her legs. So far she is not getting too far, but I know we're in trouble soon.

Farrah had her baby shower this weekend and just in time! She welcomed her daughter, Effie Harper, this morning at 3:40.

We had a great time at Gymboree last week for Elyssa's 1st Birthday party. Lauren had fun and was amazed with all the colors. She really liked the bubbles!

Adventures in Cereal!

Lauren did not take to eating cereal like we would have expected. We started to give her cereal last week. She loves her bottle and Craig and I thought for sure she would love to eat cereal. Instead she screams through the entire feeding. We have had to coax her through it by giving her a spoon of cereal and letting her drink some bottle before the next spoonful. Last night was the first time she ate her cereal without screaming!
