The New "Crew"

Finally a picture af all the little friends!! It is amazing how big Lauren and Maddy look now with Ryan and Abby in the mix!!

BLIZZARD!!!!

The first big snowstorm of the year came the day after Christmas. I think Santa wanted to make sure we could get all of our festive outings in without any trouble. It turned out to be about 16 inches of snow! Just perfect for sledding, and snow angels. So after some shovelling, we took out the sled and joined the rest of the neighborhood on sleds!

Our Chirstmas was great this year. Lauren got everything she wanted and more thanks to Santa and very generous family and friends!! This was the first year she was very excited to get LOTS of presents. She kept saying, "Which one is for me? " and "Are there more presents for me to open?" It was very cute.

 We had breakfast at our house with Grandma, Papa, and Uncle Jeff. Uncle Jeff bought her a plastic easel for her paint so she can paint OUTSIDE! She insisted on painting right away.

Mommy only allows painting outside... so let's get dressed and paint outside!

Grandma went out in the cold and painted with Lauren...she's the best!

Santa came to Aunt Marie's house. The kids all thanked him for all the great presents he brought and he took a picture with all of them. When Santa left, all the kids chased after him to see him ride off in his sleigh!

Christmas Eve

Lauren left cookies and milk out for Santa this year and wished he would leave her some paints in the morning. We all got dressed in our Christmas best and went to mass as a family with Grandma and Papa, Uncle Jeff, and Debbie came too!

 This was Lauren's first Christmas Eve at Grandma and Papa's house. We all enjoyed the food but we know what Lauren was waiting for... PRESENTS!

Brrr...it was cold when we went in to see the tree in Rockefeller Center. Lauren loved watching the zamboni, I guess we didn't need to fight traffic all the way in, we could just take her to an Islander game! She did like to see all the lights and was facinated by all the buildings decorated as we drove through the city.

Our Little Angel

Lauren was an angel in the St. Aloyisius Pre-K Christmas Pageant. She was very excited to perform although she did not want to practice at home. She kept insisting she could only sing the songs on the stage.
