Snow Day!

Last night we all went to bed fully expecting to shovel out and try and get to work on time. But alas, we were surprised with a SNOWDAY!! Thank goodness too, because we never would have made it to Queens by 8am! Just look at all of our snow!

Lauren was up to her thighs in the middle of the driveway and got "stuck" every time she tried to move.

Craig got to finally use his snowblower for some real accumulation. He even helped some neighbors.

After I took the picture Lauren fell down and kept yelling for help. All you can see is her hand, it was too cute to not get a picture.

Little Gym Demonstration

The Fall semester ended for Little Gym and The parents were invited to go in for a demonstration of all the skills they have been taught. Lauren had really grown in this class. She is able to hold up her own body weight on the bars and take a couple of steps on the beam without assistance (she would barely stand up alone when we started!).

First Haircut, FINALLY!!!

Lauren got her first haircut, after almost 3 years! It was well overdue. She was very excited to go to the "salon" but she ended up falling asleep on the ride there. When we got theere she was so tired she barely kept her eyes open for the expereince. She did get to pick a movie and which car she wanted. We ended up with Spongebob in a red race car.

Harry Potter and Ice Cream Birthday Parties!

Jackson celebrated his 6th birthday Harry Potter style! Lauren did her best to dress for Hogwarts and wore her tie from the "Krupski" House. Thanks to our trusty computer and a sweater from Debbie, we fashioned a very authentic looking Hogwarts uniform!

Lauren has her text books and she's ready for class.

The kids really enjoyed the magician. He was very entertaining and gave Jackson some tricks to use his Potter wand.

After Hogwarts, we were off to celebrate Matt's birthday. Everyone brought their homemade ice cream flavor and we had a great time sampling all the flavors. We brought Chocolate Chip Banana, and tried lots of interesting flavors like Port Wine and Fig, Charry vanilla, S'mores, and Apple Pie.

Happy New Year!

We rang in the New Year with family and friends at Aunt Marie's this year. Lauren had a blast with all the cousins and Spencer and Jude. She almost made it until 12! She asked to go to bed at 10 and did not fall asleep until 11:45! Maybe next year she'll see the ball drop.

This was a very intense Phillies/Mets duel of Connect 4 between Jackson and Spencer! C'mon Jackson...Let's Go Mets!

We even made s'mores! The kids (even the BIG ones) had a great time roasting marshmallows and getting all sticky and chocolatey!
